Plate: Oak leaf design on a satin-matte glaze Tableware items are made from a porcelainous clay (mid-fire) and include pieces such as: casserole, pitcher & tumbler, teapot, cream & sugar, mug, serving bowl set, pie plate, noodle/rice bowl, butter bell, tray, Ikebana vase and more. FOOD SAFE glazes. Mugs: 5.5 inches (14 cm) Below Left: Decorative saggar-fired eggs/maracas; ~3 inches (8cm) Right: RAKU Horsehair vessel, 8 inches; black hair lines are unique each time These vessels are hand-burnished, have no glaze, and thus are NOT WATER-TIGHT or foodsafe. CARING FOR your POTTERY: Functional items (eg. mugs, cups, bowls) are safe in the dishwasher.
