A happy child skiing down a mountain, kayaking the creek, mountain climbing, biking, hiking, skating, hanging out the laundry, fishing, resting in the hot tub or snowshoeing towards a cabin to get out of cold, these are just a few of the images I have offered in my watercolours and acrylics.
I grew up in Vancouver and after teaching for over three decades I was able to finally paint full time. I have lived in the Yukon and have resided in the Cariboo for over thirty-five years.
I love creating paintings filled with happy people; working, playing and living with smiles on their faces. My watercolours portray whimsical, stylized characters in vibrant colors reflecting my love of people.
"I want people to have fun. If people look and smile at my paintings, then I feel my art is a success."
