By definition, a ‘lodge’ is a wooden structure, constructed from large timbers in a post-and-beam style, offering accommodations. While not all lodges in British Columbia will follow this architectural model, they will have a rustic feel with comfortable rooms, and are set in more remote and isolated areas. With comfortable seating in friendly, communal areas, nice views, and a good restaurant, lodges in BC offer activities related to the wilderness at their doorstep. Whether you come to British Columbia to fish, surf, ride, ski, hike, or simply enjoy the great outdoors, a lodge will provide a peaceful, and/or exciting option.
