About Us:

Digby Arts is located in Victoria BC, on the beautiful west coast of Canada. The town of Digby, our namesake, is actually a small town in Nova Scotia, and is Jane’s birthplace.


Since its founding in November 2002, Digby Arts has produced a catalogue of colourful, dynamic well-crafted glassware. Co-owners, Michael Hofmann and Jane Van Sickle, draw from their own extensive visual arts backgrounds to develop the ideas and designs which characterize Digby Arts creations. Michael’s 10 years of glassblowing experience and an eclectic design sense coupled with Jane’s extensive and lifelong involvement in the visual arts make this one of the freshest new glassblowing studios in Canada.
