There are two main modalities of learning in the Feldenkrais Method®:
FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATION® and AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT®
FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATION® lessons are private lessons that are conducted around a particular function that you wish to improve. It is a hands on approach in which the practitioner guides you to identify and explore your habits of movement which are useful to you and those which stand in the way of reaching your potential for a higher level of performance and personal growth. Functional Integration is for anyone who wants to explore and overcome patterns of inefficiency, compromised self-expression, stiffness and pain, and discover new choices of functioning.

Would you like to move with less pain?
Improve your posture, balance and flexibility?
Maintain your fitness goals and experience vitality and focus?
Awareness Through Movement® classes are verbally directed movement explorations. They are precisely designed movement sequences that work like a physical riddle. They offer a unique and practical way of examining your current habits of moving, sensing, feeling and thinking and to let go of those that no longer serve you. Daily functions like turning, reaching, walking or breathing will be explored. As you acquire a higher level of awareness and sensitivity, you will discover alternative and novel ways of moving with greater ease, efficiency and co-ordination.
