Clearwater River Chalet and Wells Gray Gateway Guesthouse are both handcrafted log cabins. They are located 3 kilometres apart at opposite ends of 120 hectares (300 acres) of private land, so you have plenty of space to roam.
Wells Gray Park has been nicknamed "Canada's Waterfalls Park" for its many magnificent waterfalls including Helmcken Falls, Canada's fourth highest and the crown jewel of the Park.
A 30 km network of trails radiates from the Chalet. There are dozens of hiking trails nearby, some on the property and many more that start from the Wells Gray Park road. The trails range in length from 30 minutes to all day.
