This display of photo illustrations celebrates the International Year of Forests. Inspired by the natural beauty of her neighbourhood, Gillian McQuade hopes these images will encourage people to stop and think about the importance of our local forests in sustaining a habitable world.
Abstract themes of colour and texture combine with realism to offer “an illusionary version of reality” in these digitally altered photographs.
The exhibition is during Port Moody’s Festival of the Arts.
