Every March, spring splashes into Canada with the Pacific Rim Whale Festival!Join the fun on the shores of Vancouver Island's wild west coast, as we celebrate the arrival of upwards of 20,000 grey whales on their northbound migration from the Baja Peninsula to Alaska's Bering Strait and beyond.
Located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, the Pacific Rim Whale Festival takes place within the hosting communities of Tofino, Ucluelet and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
It's the perfect time of year to witness grey whales on migration; indoors, from the air, or out on the briny sea!
We're on a mission to spread the word on whales and the creatures who share their environments. Of course, there's more than just greys; humpbacks, killer whales, and other outstanding wildlife live here too...
