Cedar Weaving Workshop at the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives

The Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives celebrates the traditions of the Coast Salish people with this one-day cedar weaving workshop, facilitated by Jessica Casey. You will learn the basic skills of weaving and over the course of the day, complete a berry basket to take home. Ms. Casey is a self taught weaver of Coast Salish and Portuguese decent, born and raised in Egmont, B.C.
The cost of the workshop is $65 and includes all the supplies. No experience necessary. This workshop is a pre-requisite to the upcoming two-day cedar weaving workshop in June.
