Starting to draw at the tender age of two, and taking only short breaks to eat and sleep, Joe continued drawing non-stop for the next ten years.
In his late twenties his artistic prowess truly began to manifest itself. While working for a prominent custom log home builder in Alberta, he was given an opportunity to do a carving on a building.
Since then Joe's looked side to side, but never back and his fine art has made its way into residential and commercial buildings across the USA, Canada, Japan and Germany.

This bigger than life "Grizzly Bear Hug" was originally intended as a exterior post of a log home.
When the client defaulted it collected dust in the corner of my studio until finally finding a home in the Okanagan.
