Big enough to respect your privacy and yet, keep mine. It's location is prime to all amenities, many within 2 km. The area is blessed with extraordinary natural beauty, in flora & fauna. Experienced professional in the service & hospitality industry plus 'really good food'. Vacation rental packages are also available and encouraged, as there is a fully equipped kitchen.
Most of the acreage has been left natural and so animal encounters do occur. For those who appreciate the concept of more 'Mother Nature' and less technology, this is the place for you. There's generally some Jazz or Blues playing in the background mixing with the many bird calls. No television, no high speed internet, no cell phone activity....as Van the Man says...let's keep it simple.
The living room on the main floor looks up to an expanse of knotty pine ceiling at the 22' level. Native art abounds and accents the Aztec stucco fireplace. This area is quite often 'Awe Inspiring' to my guests, as one really appreciates the beautiful log construction of a Reid Finlayson Home.
The Games Area in the Guest Lounge invites my guests to relax and socialize. The television is sometimes used for an evening gathering over popcorn and libation, while the cribbage board and cards have their own followers. This area has a multitude of brochures and pamphlets that suggest where to go and what to see and do in the Southern Okanagan and Similkameen Region. Books and magazines are also available here for guests. The Guest Lounge has a private entranceway.
One of my guests wrote....'There's no need to search for paradise.....it's here.'
And I suppose it's all a matter of what is important to people....the fresh air..the nights' clear skys...the quiet ...the regular calls of the coyotes...the peaceful and serene aura...the smell of the trees and the wild roses...perhaps the bountiful breakfasts with fresh ground coffee aromas drifting into their suites...?
For the others...there's The Hilton, The Hyatt and The Holiday.
