I am a professional stained glass artist with 15 years experience, specializing in the copper foil method.
I enjoy making high quality 2-D and 3-D items such as windows, lamps, vases, jewel boxes, candle holders and sun-catchers, as well as commissioned custom orders.
This sunflower design is done in a 'mosaic' style with a multi-coloured background with a striking effect.

This Family Tree window was created for a customer that wanted a special gift for relatives celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. The names of the couple and the wedding date were sand-blasted into different sections of the 'leaves' of the tree for a very personalized effect.
Sand-blasting of details such as names & dates can be done to almost any glass objects for a unique touch at an extra service fee.

This Hummingbird Cornerette was designed for a client who loves hummingbirds and wanted a design for her small kitchen window; we didn't want to over-power the small window with a large piece, so a 'cornerette' was made to accent the space instead.

This Seashell window was made using found objects the client had gathered with her children on the beaches of Victoria, BC.
I incorporated these 'found items'(shells & beach glass) into a circular window for her, capturing the essence of the West Coast into an 18" diameter window artwork.

This Shar Pei dog design was made from a client's photograph of their dog, as a gift to the spouse.
Using the colour photo, I carefully chose glass that was the most similar to the dog's actual colouring to render an accurate likeness of their beloved pet.
I have done several windows now of customer's pets, from photographs, a very special keepsake indeed!
