General information: Bear Valley Highlands  Welcome to our 640 acre ranch in the sunny OKANAGAN VALLEY. Enjoy rolling hills, rocks to climb and forests to explore. Situated in a sunny valley, you can experience stunning views of the MONASHEE MOUNTAINS, CAMELS HUMP and our private lake as well as several smaller ponds. Canoeing, fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities are abundant.  Artist retreats - for the 2011 season are offering artist retreats for small groups, either self guided or we can connect you with instructors for your preferred medium. We will provide some material such as easels, help you find the best locations for plein air painting and can also assist with transporting your painting gear to that best painting spot. This package can be booked as a full service retreat with breakfast, lunch and supper provided in the cabins or, if the weather allows, outside. It will include non alcoholic beverages and snacks.  Sit back on your covered porch to enjoy the sunset and views.
