Charlotte Lake is a crystal clear mountain lake that boasts excellent rainbow trout fishing. For the fisherman our fish stocks are natural and plentiful. Being relatively unknown, Charlotte Lake promises tranquility and solitude. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are kilometres of backroads and trails to explore and incredible mountain vistas to photograph. A camera is a necessity!
Our semi-wilderness site is located in the Chilcotin region of BC. We operate out of the old Charlotte Lake Resort, 3.5 hours west from Williams Lake on Highway #20 (Bella Coola).
For the fly-fisherman, a boat trip to the far western end of Charlotte to Little Charlotte Lake (fly-fishing only) is suggested. The rapids that feed Little Charlotte offers the avid fly-fisherman hours of entertainment.
Besides great trout fishing, fantastic views and quiet, there are kilometers of hiking and biking trails. The historic town of Bella Coola is a two hour drive away.
