Born in Toronto in 1958 and raised in Southern California, I capture images with a keen appreciation of the diverse landscapes of Canada, the US and many world locations. A lifetime of hiking, kayaking and travelling throughout Thailand, Mexico and North America has profoundly influenced his work, particularly my photojournalistic travel images.

After graduating from Brooks Institute of Photographic Arts and Sciences in Santa Barbara, California, I moved to Calgary and began my career as a photographer for the Glenbow Museum. While in Alberta, I began exhibiting my work in galleries and museums and established my reputation as a photographic artist. For the past sixteen years, I have worked from my home on North Pender Island in British Columbia, Canada.
