About My Work
Mostly self-taught and learning from other artists along the way, I live in the northwest corner of Vancouver Island and enjoy the space that many other travellers on this spaceship earth envy. My art speaks for itself and the viewer unlocks the code contained within. If my work reminds the viewers of the small moments of joy, then that is success. The artist is a proud member of North Vancouver Island Art Society and Port Alice Arts and Artisans Society.

The Reds, Oil on Canvas
In painting The Reds, the forest floor in autumn was my inspiration. The scents, the colours, the interplay of light and shadow all mingled to produce this canvas.

Boots on the Fence, Oil on Canvas
An unfinished work, Boots on the Fence harkens back to days lived in Calgary and watching the Stampede.

Swan, Watercolour
The swan that exists in everyone who cares to stick his or her neck out to risk discovering their passion for adventure in whatever pursuit they choose.
