General information: Herondell Bed & Breakfast

A short, drive through the woods brings you to a small natural pond, alive with wild ducks, herons, and the occasional beaver. The house is tucked behind a huge Black Locust tree which dominates the yard.

Twelve and a half kilometers north of the Saltery Bay Ferry Terminal is the driveway leading to Herondell Bed and Breakfast. A cheery, white sign with a Heron emblazoned on it is your cue to turn right off of the main highway.

Outside, if you have time to explore, you may chose a trail which will take you to the river for fishing and swimming, through the woods for bird watching or Nancy will show you the forestry project which is currently in progress on the 40 acres of woodland.
