General information: Clayoquot Eco Tours @ The Whale Centre

The Whale Centre Maritime Museum is a display of artifacts collected and donated by Tofino locals over the past twenty five years. The museum is free to the public. Come in and check out our complete 40’ gray whale skeleton. The kids love it!

We also have an assortment of traditional native jewelry , cedar baskets, paddles, sea life (sponges, shells, baleen, ect.) and local artifacts from traditional whaling equipment to original navigation charts of the area.

Twenty-seven nautical miles north west of Tofino sits the picturesque Hot Springs Cove, home of the Hesquiat people and the Maquinna Provincial Park. Unique to this location is the natural hot spring that bubbles up from a crack in the earth near the mouth of the bay.

Surfers will be instructed on ocean safety, surfing techniques, wave knowledge and much more! Come join the fun on the beaches of Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park.

Can you imagine?
