General information: Harbour House  Harbour House is situated directly on the water on the sunny side of the inlet, facing the village of Ucluelet. Each of our three waterfront rooms is tastefully decorated with West Coast art and has its own bathroom and private entrance. You can explore the natural beauty of the Ucluelet/Tofino peninsula or just relax on our moss-covered patio to enjoy the sights and sounds of the water and the forest and feel the warmth of the firepit in the evening. Harbour House is a sanctuary with a picturesque view both day and night.  At least once a year, orcas swim up the inlet.We can also make arrangements for you to go ocean fishing, whale watching, bear watching or cruising the waters of Barkley Sound or taking a trip to the Hot Springs or Meares Island.  You can launch your kayak or canoe from our private beach or drive 10 minutes to either Pacific Rim National Park or the Wild Pacific Trail. Black bears regularly visit "our" beach at low tide. All rooms are tastefully decorated with West Coast art. The inviting patio with fire pit is bordered by a small section of rain forest.Two rooms and the Tree House have their own private hot tub under the stars. |
