It was almost 20 years ago that a wrong turn on campus landed Canadian glass artist Sarah Mulligan in the Craft and Design building at Sheridan College. She was mesmerized by the fluidity, grace and grittiness of the hot glass studio. That very day she enrolled in the program and has been working with hot glass ever since! Her body of work is comprised of blown glass functional objects and fused glass jewelry - both displaying elements of simple design, attention to detail, and an affinity for the natural world. She now resides on beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Sarah creates an array of functional pretty blown glass bowls, vessels, memorials and decorative items.
She also creates 2 different lines of beautiful and dainty jewelry...
The first is the 22k Gold and White Glass series with quality 14k gold filled findings
