Weave a Portrait with Carl Stewart

Carl Stewart (Ottawa) will be teaching a 2-day class at the Arts Station in Fernie, BC. Instruction will include transferring an image/portrait to graph paper (various hand and computer techniques) and weaving samples using Half-dukagang to create shading and texture. Students must provide their own 4 harness workshop loom warped in 8/2 cotton in a dark colour, 12 inches wide, 3 yards long using straight twill threading.
