Winter vacationers take another look at BC
A winter getaway in BC holds promise of fresh powdery snow, stunning mountain peaks, crackling fires in cozy inns, gourmet dinners and activities for the whole family. Or does it? GoBC.ca offers up-to-date snow reports for each BC ski resort at-a-glance, along with a host of other winter activities and events, accommodations large and small, maps and travel information. “There’s a sense out there that the whole BC winter season will be claimed by the Olympics and to get away, you have to fly south. In fact, BC has many ski resorts as well as sleepy winter-wonderland getaways – with optional hot tub, or even hot springs.” says owner Sibylle Zilker from GoBC Arts and Cultural Tourism.
