Wildwood

Wildwood is a forest that has been managed by Merve Wilkinson since 1938 using ecoforestry methods. Ecoforestry is a sustainable alternative to clear-cut logging. Over the years it has become a worldwide meeting place for foresters and students interested in alternatives to the industrial forestry that dominates BC. Site manager Jay Rastogi has developed a unique and fun interpretive walk through the forest. School tours and children welcome as well as scientists and foresters!
