Much of the support and work in each community is conducted by a base of hard working individuals. The arts associations, arts councils and arts groups across British Columbia aim to bring organized awareness to their communities. GoBC supports their efforts and honors their commitment by providing free marketing for Canadian arts organizations and artists.
More than 100 artists have made Quadra Island their home. On the first weekend of June every year, some 30 artists open their studios for the annual Artists Studio Tour. Website features a complete listing of artists, musicians, writers and healing arts.
