Read on to learn how we have added more ways for you to promote your offers to more people, faster.

2. More Promotion for Events, Performances, Art Shows …
Using social media to bring more visitors to your event: thank you for your participation!

1. NEW! Promote your Specials with GoBC
GoBC now promotes your specials right on the home page at www.GoBC.ca and on our social media sites. All you need to do is to enter your special rate for each of your existing accommodation types, getaways or tours in your administration area with a begin and end date.

Specials” is reserved for time-limited special deals which offer customers a lower price than is usually available. Please enter your packages, including seasonal packages and getaways, separately. These will appear under “BC Getaways” and we promote both, specials and packages right from our home page.

In addition, we will post special deals and time-sensitive packages on Facebook and Twitter, and will use Facebook ads promoting specials to attract even more attention. Of course, we continue to take full advantage of search engine optimization.

Surveys have shown that more Canadians are planning winter vacations than a year ago. Let’s give them an incentive to come to - or stay in - British Columbia!

2. Promoting Events, Performances, Art Shows …
Thank you for all the contributions to the GoBC events listings! Your events appear not only on the GoBC website, but are promoted on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, which in turn brings traffic to the event listings and from there, communities, their artists and their businesses. Your participation benefits all!
