To the north are the farms and forests of Merville and Black Creek where roadside stands and horse-drawn carts are not uncommon sights. Saratoga Beach, to the north of Black Creek, boasts beautiful safe sandy beaches and destination family resorts. To the South are the quiet seaside communities of Royston, Union Bay and Fanny Bay – home to some of the best oysters on earth
