I am a full-time Canadian artist working on Vancouver
Island in British Columbia, Canada. My art is evidence of
my travels, interest in nature, vibrancies of life and love
of all things that stimulate a smile. Colours and curves
are a common theme within my work and I hope that you'll find a piece that will hang on the wall of a room where you spend time and will remind you that happiness is all about how you look outward towards life.

 

CANVAS Giclée PRINTS

A Giclée print is the highest quality print available today. A canvas Giclée print is actually printed directly on canvas and not paper, is very archival, can be hung without glass on top of it and offers a low cost alternative to the original artwork without sacrificing a quality look. My canvas Giclée prints are available in limited editions that vary with each painting. The canvas Giclée is printed on demand which offers an advantage because several different sizes may be available. While the original painting may be 24x36, you might prefer your Giclée to be bigger (30“x40“) or smaller (15“x20“) to fit in a specific space. All canvas Giclées will be gallery wrapped around 1.25“ wood art frames similar to the original and can be hung as is or framed to suit the décor of the buyer.

My canvas Giclée prints are made by scanning the original artwork into a computer at the highest resolution possible to capture all of the nuances in the artwork. I use a highly reputable Giclée print firm that utilizes Iris Giclée printers. The Iris is a continuous tone drum printer with the printing canvas attached to the drum. The print head moves slowly across the spinning drum in one pass, spraying ink from all four nozzles on a continuous basis. The drum spins at 150 inches per second during the printing process that takes an hour to complete. The Iris printer uses water-soluble dye based inks which are formulated specifically for fine art applications and has a maximum finished print size of 30“x40“ The exacting control of Iris printing contributes to it’s superiority in its ability to honor the original artwork. All inks are considered archival and each Giclée canvas print is coated to protect the artwork from scratching as well as against UV light damage.

While original artwork by Brandy Saturley are currently priced between $1095.00 and $7500.00, my canvas Giclée prints are available starting at $495.00 Canadian dollars. Each canvas Giclée includes a certificate of authenticity from Brandy Saturley showing the edition number relating to
your canvas Giclée.

Your Canvas Giclée will be produced, carefully packaged and shipped to you using the courier of your preference. Shipping costs and insurance are your responsibility.

She draws inspiration from Canadian artists Alex Colville, EJ Hughes, Grant Leier, Ted Harrison, Norval Morrisseau and Emily Carr. Inspirations also include the works of Klimt, Romero Britto and Mark Rothko.
