  We want to let you know how well you are doing. That is why we have set up statistics that allow you to see how many visitors you have had on the German site www.urlaub-reisen.gobc.ca as well as on www.gobc.ca

Zoom in – have you noticed? We have a new feature
Have a look at your listing. We have a new feature: your site is now linked to a map that will show your visitors and customers how to find YOU. Our newest edition on our web site is the Interactive Google Map which shows your location in detail. This is how it works. A link on your site opens a map. Zoom in and your listing’s location is presented in detail. Your customers can even zoom out to see what is nearby or even print this map to take with them for driving instructions to find you. Check your map. Is everything correct? Please let us know.

Would you like to know how many potential customers have accessed your site, let’s say yesterday? Or last week? Or last month? Just go to your Admin Area and check your Statistics!

Optimization. What you can do to promote your region
Promote your region. Do you refer to restaurants, tour operators? Let them know about GoBC! Is there a quaint little museum around the corner? An artist you know? Creating lots to see, do, eat and visit in every region of BC helps to make all members of GoBC more interesting to the traveler. Guests like to know what they can do when they get there or why your region is so wonderful. By telling all kinds of tourism orientated businesses, such as Tour Guides, Kayak Rentals, Whale Watching adventurers, car rental agencies, about GoBC you can help make your region more attractive.  The more attractions we are able to feature, the more restaurants and tour operators we can present the more you as an accommodation business or artist will benefit – simply because more people will come to visit. Speak to other business contacts and let them know they can sign up with GoBC on their own or contact us.
Let’s promote all aspects British Columbia has to offer!

GoBC would like to thank everybody who has shared their beautiful pictures. You are the experts – you know when to look out for that special magical moment, when the beauty of your region can be captured in an image to share: the colourful wild meadow, the sweeping prairie, the stormy skies in winter. We have sat and sorted through many beautiful images, and gosh, we have thought many times – this is where I would love to go myself! If you haven’t had time to sort through your pictures of your town or region just put it on your to-do list! Help us promote your town or region by sending us your most beautiful pictures.

GoBC will provide copyright information and the names of the photographers sharing their pictures.

New feature in your Admin area: European Statistics
We want to let you know how well you are doing. That is why we have set up statistics that allow you to see how many visitors you have had on the German site www.urlaub-reisen.gobc.ca as well as on www.gobc.ca.

Since its launching in December our German website www.urlaub-reisen.gobc.ca has quadrupled our traffic. If you have been to your admin area and checked your statistics lately, you will have noticed that we now count the traffic generated from both web sites.
