GoBC has yet again set up a new feature to make this website more attractive and easier to navigate for visitors – your customers. We have created a new map with more detailed information and more links to your town and community.

So what’s NEW?
A richer graphical design allows you to see major geographical detailsNational and Provincial Park boundaries show up in a light green shade
The little thumbnail picture top right provides info on which part of BC you are looking at.
Move your cursor over a town's name and see a thumbnail picture and a short description -click on it and you will be guided to this town's listings: accommodation, artists, attractions, events and more
Boundaries are overlapping allowing visitors to see what is in the vicinity

FAQ
Why are there no descriptions for every community on the map?
This feature is content related. If there is no listing, artist nor event posted it will not appear at this point in time. And yes, this is a work in progress. We at GoBC believe in constant change and improvement.What can I do to promote my community?
Does your community description not have a photo? Do you think you have a nicer one? Would a seasonal picture convey more of the uniqueness of your town? If the answer to any of the questions above is a "yes" we would love to hear from you. Our GoBC team member Sibylle manages our picture files. Email your pictures to Sibylle and receive photo credit. (just reply to this email)
Is there more to say about your community? Some interesting local lore you wish to share? Something that really makes your town special? Let us know and we will include interesting facts in our description of your community. Send your ideas to our GoBC team member Linde.
