Allan has been carving since 2000, carves in Soapstone, Alabaster and Chlorite. Has taught thousands of people the joy of stone carving. Carves mostly animals in a contemporary style. Represented by Mountain Galleries at the Fairmont Hotels in Banff, Jasper & Whistler, the Alberta Craft Gallery. Allan does repairs to soapstone carvings as well. Each year he receives broken sculptures from all over North America to restore back to new condition.
