General information: Museum at Campbell River

The Museum at Campbell River is an award-winning, international class museum, situated on a heritage site with a beautiful marine view. Step in to see, hear and touch the history of the people of this region - explore our vibrant exhibits of First Nations cultures and the unique coastal lifestyles that have evolved from early to recent times.

View a dramatic light and sound presentation of spectacular masks depicting the ancient tradition of The Treasures of Siwidi. Sit behind the wheel of an early logging turck, step aboard a floathouse, join the pursuers of the mighty Tyee salmon at the town's first hotel, sit back in our little theatre and relive the legendary explosion of Ripple Rock. Browse in the excellent Museum Shop and explore the museum's outdoor history: large artifacts and native plant gardens.
