The Comox Valley Community Arts Council, which also operates the Muir Gallery, is an non-profit organization that promotes and supports arts, culture and education in and around the Comox Valley. We co-ordinate and co-sponsor art shows and workshops, literary projects, performing arts events and children's programs including Kids Fest. We also take every opportunity to promote our member groups.

The Muir Gallery is host to a variety of exhibitions featuring community artists as well as community and regional juried art shows. The Muir Gallery is also host to literary events, workshops and presentations.
