Leap in to Salmon’s World at the Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre! Explore our unique interpretive gallery. Learn about salmon and their importance to the ecosystem and view growing salmon fry (and other species) in our display aquariums. Take a guided tour of a working wild salmon hatchery and find out how we raise and release hundreds of thousands of wild salmon juveniles every year. The Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre is operated by the Northern Vancouver Island Salmonid Enhancement Association (NVISEA). We are a non profit organisation dedicated to the recovery of salmon populations in Northern Vancouver Island streams. NVISEA also operates the Quatse River Regional Park and Campground, adjacent to the Salmon Centre. All proceeds generated at the Salmon Centre and Campground directly fund salmon enhancement efforts on the North Island. Please visit our website for more information: www.thesalmoncentre.org
