Windswept Studio, Gail Rankin

Gail Rankin's studio was created after a storm blew a number of trees onto her garage. The structure was rebuilt to take advantage of the spectacular view of Discovery Passage that had opened up. Looking out the window is just one source of inspiration for her watercolour and mixed media paintings of sea life, islands, and flowers.
