BIOGRAPHY
Ellen Scobie was born and raised on Vancouver Island. She
obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba where further training in stone lithography laid the foundation for her creative process today – a hybrid of photography, painting and printmaking. Scobie uses the landscape to metaphorically interpret her places of memory, real and imagined. Her goal is to create artworks of beauty that bring joy and a sense of peaceful contentment into the life of the viewer.
