The Sunshine Coast earns its name by the incredibly mild weather year round and an average of nearly six hours of sunshine per day. Its picturesque landscape between ocean and mountains of giant Douglas fir trees offers an unlimited world of possibilities to its visitors. On the mainland of Vancouver and the Coast Mountain Range, visitors enjoy driving the scenic Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler carved into the mountainous shoulders offering incredible ocean views, strolling the seawall around Stanley Park, or visiting the many galleries and artists' studios located on Granville Island and throughout the surrounding areas.
